About Us

Established in 2012 by directors James and Emmelyn Cornish as Henry Rose Lettings, the business has grown largely through word of mouth and recommendations from our satisfied clients. It has now evolved into the successful business trading today as Henry Rose Lettings and Sales. We added a sales department in 2014 to compliment the lettings side of the firm.
Our aim is to be the letting agent of choice for South Suffolk, in order to achieve this we intend to provide the best possible service and provide a cost effective range of letting agency services.

James Cornish, Director

James has been working in estate agency for most of his working life and during that time has given property related advice to over 5000 local people. He founded Henry Rose in the summer of 2012. James lives locally and when not at work, is kept busy with his wife and three young children. James enjoys playing and watching football and is also a keen runner.

Emmelyn Cornish, Director

Emmelyn has been involved with the business since its conception in 2012 and takes responsibility for ensuring that all the office systems are running smoothly. Emm’s role also includes business development, and she represents the company at business networking groups where she meets with other local business owners. Emmelyn is kept busy by her and James’ young children, striving to find the perfect work-life balance! emmelyn@henry-rose.co.uk

Harry Baker, Negotiator

Harry joined Henry Rose in 2015 and has really enjoyed his first role in estate agency. Despite his youthful looks Harry is a landlord himself so is very familiar with some pros and cons of buying and selling investment property. Being a fully trained chef, Harry has a passion for food when he is not at work, and he also enjoys tinkering with his motorbike. harry@henry-rose.co.uk

Genna Garwood, Apprentice

Genna’s role includes helping to answer the phones and dealing with some office admin. Having joined the business straight from school, Genna has recently passed her driving test so can now do viewings and property inspections. Having lived in Ipswich all her life she knows the area well and her local knowledge has already come in very useful in her role. Genna’s favourite part of her job is handing over the keys to a new tenant or homeowner! genna@henry-rose.co.uk
